At home I prepare, lay a rubber foundation, paint two coats each of the green, and cure completely. I draw dots of leaf shapes with a micro-liner, burnish a little chrome or press foil during the tacky stage and seal the scenes with a thin coating of top before the finishing glossy coating. This Pros repeat, layer upon layer as a blanket, upon a blanket, thin layers mean smoother reflection and less chipping–a little detail, but proves profitable.

Back to back eucalyptus color, one dark one hazy, on ultra-glossed almonds to get that fresh foliage after rain vibe. The hand is webbed and tonal, a cool girl green and yet, behaves like a Neutral across looks. It has that nature-y style but not rustic I love fall days in the city.
For shades, I pair a deep forest from Opi (Stay Off The Lawn!!-adjacent) with a soft sage from Dnd; gels in a gel opi texture keep the surface puddled-glass glossy. In case you are rough on your hands, think about builder base or some matching dip of the longer nails. This plan is lovely transferred to Almond shape short and to other gel short lengths as well.
I pre percolate, plot the swap girder, and I take two thin coats per nail and dry. I use a dot of clear top after the last top to keep the greens reading luxe, and after it dries add a dab of clear top on the side wall- it gives off the salon level reflection. Want a little glam at night? Throw in a micro leaf with just a hint of colour on one nail, say in soft Chrome; it is the restraint that makes the magic.
